All rights reserved. The Diaper Bag Wrangler 2009
a little bit about us...
The Diaper Bag Wrangler was "born" in
2006, when my daughter was about
two months old. I decided to design a
small diaper & wipes bag which evolved
into a bag that had a removable plastic
ring so I could hang it from my stroller.
Over the last few years, we have truly
turned into a true cottage industry
business. Everything is handmade, by
me, in my home studio.
Before my life as a stay at home mom,
I worked in the printing industry and in
merchandising. I attended The
University of Kansas School of Fine Arts
and have a BFA in Design. I also teach
adult sewing classes at the ACPPA
Community Art Center in Norristown, PA
and for the Spring-Ford School District
Community Education Program.
In 2008 I was diagnosed with stage 2
breast cancer. I was 30 years old with
no family history of cancer. I had
double mastectomy surgery 2 weeks
after my diagnosis and started
chemotherapy 3 weeks after that. I am
amazed by the strength we can find
when there is no other choice. You can
check out my blog for a candid and
humorous account of my ongoing
treatment.
We live in a quiet little town in the far
reaches of the Philadelphia Suburbs.
Thanks so much!!!
